Silent Ambition

I love his slang,
His silent ambition.
He doesn’t talk much
But when he does, I listen.
I’m missing
Conversations we haven’t even had yet,
Reminiscing on that one time we had met.
How can I forget?
My favorite flashback
Of when I looked back
And you flashed a smile right at me.
That’s crazy.

So honest.
So modest.
Hella eyesome
With a vibe I can vibe with
And a smile I can smile with.
I can’t shy away from the fact that I’m attracted to that.

And I don’t mind the silence.
I guess we’re in agreement.
A lot of people talk with no meaning.
Therefore, I appreciate his words
And I appreciate his time
‘cause that’s what’s really in his heart
And that’s what’s really on his mind.

That’s why I love his slang.
That’s why I love his ambition.
Just ‘cause it’s silent doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take the time to listen.
